Just a short update to let you all know that not much is going on in my life. Went to the doctor today and he said my symptoms are very stomach ulcer-like. It's probably not as bad since I'm not in a world of pain. He prescribed me some pills and if it doesn't get better in the next couple of days I should go to the hospital for an echography. dnw. Not that i mind echographies in general, it's just the whole going there, waiting,... Besides, that would be the fifth or sixth time I get an echography. XDD Thank you ibs.

In other more interesting and exciting news: WHITECHAPEL IS BACK! I loved the new eppy.
The second part of BIRDSONG was quite wonderful too. SO MANY EMOTIONS.

I'm going to bed now, nice and early like I've been doing for days. Not that it seems to help much, but yeah... at least I'm trying here.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR CARDS! ♥

Look what [info]primrosemeadow made me:

Such an awesome surprise. I LOVE IT! Thaaanks! ♥

The Lotsos approve and yes I am in fact utterly insane.

[1] One of my neighbors is listening to Closer to the Edge on repeat as if his life depends on it. I don't think I mind even if his singing is a bit out of key. Especially the 'no, no, no' part cracks me up. XD So much emotion, so kudos for that I suppose.

[2] Finished my thesis and handed it in. It looked all fancy. I have three weeks (give or take) ahead of me before I have to defend it.

[3] My thoughts on Sherlock: P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N.

Mom and I found a wallet today. Credit cards, € 66, vouchers, you name it. BUT we didn’t keep it. We went to another town to give it back to the rightful owner. She gave us 10 euros. I’m glad we were good little citizens because she looked really confused and sad when she arrived by car.

[1] Patrick Wilson has a show now? MUST.WATCH.SOON. Okay, am watching it now and I like it so far (I'm only ten minutes in).

[2] I’ve seen the first five episodes of Game of Thrones (late to the party as always) but I absolutely love it. I actually don’t know what I love the most about it.

[3] Terra Nova looks very promising. I liked the first episode and I’ll be watching the second one.

[4] I’m adoring Hawaii Five-0. As always.

[5] I still need to catch up on The Mentalist, but I’m sort of pre-disappointed because I read a spoiler I didn’t like. I know, watch before you judge.

I'm okay and I hope you're all okay too. *squishes her flist*

[1] The Green Lantern wasn't nearly as bad as a lot of people led me to believe. That's just my very humble opinion and yes I did have low expectations. I still liked it because there's always water in the tap. Besides, it's always extra epic when there's a fellow fangirl ([info]define_serenity ) next to me, who happens to be able to read my mind. We're watching Captain America next week. Oh and a certain Jim Sturgess poster sort of made my day. *grins* I had a great day. We went shopping as well and I bought Children of Dune (yes, I seem to be buying every single James McAvoy movie without a second thought) and The Children of Huang Shi (and only now I notice I bought two movies with the word children in the title).

[2] Watched Inside I'm Dancing and let's just say I sort of cried for the first time in my life during a movie (there were actual tears on my face even if they didn't roll down - I'm a cold bitch really). The movie is hilarious, insanely sad and exciting at the same time. James McAvoy and Steven Robertson are brilliant (really really brilliant) and the friendship they put on screen is both heartbreaking and beautiful. This is my very subtle way of saying: SEE IT. Don't watch the trailer btw. It spoiled the ending for me and it makes the movie sound like just another comedy while it's not.

[3] Today happens to be SUPER 8 day for me. Mom just got home and we're leaving soon.

[4] Pictures of my trips to France and Germany will be up soon. I promise. It always takes me ages to upload and post pics.

[5] I still need to watch two episodes of White Collar. I am ashamed of myself, truly ashamed.

[6] Anything else? Ah yes, I'm writing four X-Men fics. Damn Dee's my brain. I'm working on a humor fic now and while it's still headed for fun now I'm pretty sure it'll be headed for angst soon. I plan on returning to the White Collar fandom after I've seen the latest eppies.

[7] I hit my toe last night and there was blood EVERYWHERE. I think I sort of sprained it, but I'm not sure. It was dark and I thought I was okay until I reached down and touched my little toe and my hand came back sticky with blood. Too much information, I know. I'm fine-ish now. Walking's a little strange now, but who cares.

Aaand have a gifsie because I can:

London 1976
My mom took this picture. She was there for a concert.

[1] Have I mentioned that I PASSED ALL MY EXAMS? now I need to write that thesis, defend it and receive my Master's degree. Sounds easy enough (I'm sure it won't be that easy, but I like utopian thoughts).

[2] Went to our little Belgian coast  (two weeks ago) and had a nice day...

more pics under the cut )

[3] i might kinda/sorta be going to Disney again. *innocent look* I really do hope I get to see the following* bear so I can hug the hell out of him (Yes, I do know there are human beings inside those costumes). I'll try to be a good girl and let the man/woman inside breathe (because apparently that's a groovy thing). I did squish Sully two years ago.

*

[4] I'm still writing, drawing, iconing (should be a word imho),...

[5] Ordered Mass Effect (PC game) and it should arrive soon. Bought some books (the how-do-I-make-this-drawing-look-like-a-drawing kind).

[6] Anything else? Not really, I think. I hope you're all okay over there!

[1] Had a great day! Went to the movies - Transformers 3 ([info]define_serenity  and [info]emily_sheppard  invited me and I obviously couldn't say no). Thanks for an amazing day, girls! :) And wow, the 3D element was pretty awesome for once.

[2] I bought a drawing tablet and it's perfect. JUST PERFECT. My drawings will no longer look like what you can see under the cut. Finally, I'll be able to make "decent" digital graphics (my pencil drawings have plenty of details, but scanning those doesn't work the way I want it to).

random X-men and White Collar drawing - very simple ones )

[3] Other than all the awesome stuff, I feel pretty nauseated lately. I must be pregnant (logical really *coughs*), you know, with all those possible boyfriends at my door. Wait, there was this guy who got off the bus and started talking to me and used the words - I kid you not: "Oh you're a beautiful woman, what's your address?" I told him that that bit of info was none of his business and pretended I didn't speak enough French or English to understand him.
Or maybe it was Michael Fassbender and his bam.bam.bam. I don't actually think anything's wrong, probably just one of those IBS-related things.

[4] I'm considering getting a special movie card (for 16.90 euros per month). I'd get avant-première tickets and I'd be able to go to the movie theater every single day (and more). Hahaha. Not that I see myself do that (not every day anyway). I would, however, see every single movie available and I'd see my favorite ones as much as possible. So so tempting. *considers*
